Can anyone tell me if there are places that offer horseback riding to the public? Not lessons, just riding for fun/leisure.

We have some horses at Skyhold, but there's also ranches around that do that, too. I can send you the list if you like?

I rode as a kid/when I was younger and some a few years ago. I'm no beginner, but no master expert. I know my way around a horse. Someone will be with me and I'd say they are an expert rider. haha

Not a problem. Atreus is also familiar with some of the other ranches, I think. And a few of the others. I know a few that I've helped during rebuilding stuff. So I can reach out to some of them eventually, too.

He's just a regular elephant. He can just also fight in wars. I don't usually ride Hannibal, but we use him for war games. I might ride him, though. Can't be any worse than Arion. He runs fast enough to break the sound barrier sometimes and up the sides of mountains.

But Richie said it's fine to use the regular horses.

Me either, but that's mostly because of Arion. Thinking about how long a sword I could have if I was on an elephant. Yes. He is. Well, he's an immortal horse. Son of Neptune and Ceres Poseidon and Demeter.

Yes and no. I don't speak horse, so I don't know what he's saying, but we have an understanding. If there's ever anything serious, I usually ask Atreus for a translation.

Well, I think most animals have a way of communicating. I'll let him know. He's a little suspicious of men most of the time, but I'll give you his favorite not gold cause I still don't trust anyone besides Sabrina, Dad, and Persephone treat. To assist in your cause of knowing him.

Not in human voices anyway. For the most part. Not a lot of animals are comfortable around me, though. Underworld kid thing.

Basically, yeah. And horses, according to my friend Percy, tend to swear a lot. Oh. My dad is Pluto. The Roman version of Hades. But I have a half brother, Nico, who is a son of Hades. So Underworld kids.

Can anyone blame him?

No, but we kind of give off a vibe, I guess? So most animals are spooked? Except the Hellhounds and Hannibal and the horses and some that are around Atreus.

Yes and no. I grew up on a farm. My family didn't have horses, but I had a few friends who did. In Fillory I rode horses a few times and that was the first time since I was young. I'd like to surprise a friend with the horseback riding.

That seems like a very thoughtful surprise. I looked into it a little back when I first arrived, but I'm afraid the young lady I'd intended to go riding with was sent home before we had the chance to go, so I don't have any to recommend to you.

I certainly can ride, though I didn't do it terribly often. I spent more time at sea or in the air than I ever did on horseback.

I'm sure there must be. That seems like it would be highly sought after, in terms of pleasure riding.

Quentin and I are alright. We've had our share of ups and downs over the last few months. I'm still living at Morningside and he's at the Physical Kids Cottage. I watched some of the feed, but then stopped. It was too much.

Perhaps we can have lunch or dinner sometime and catch up on everything.
