Harry would be the first to admit that ambulance chasing wasn't exactly his speed, but if he and Daisy were going to set up a PI Agency and attempt to help outsiders here, then the hospital was the logical place to start. Find out what was hurting people and stop it. He felt deeply uneasy even being here, with all the life-saving beeps and buzzes reminding him that, although some things in this world were able to function around his magical abilities, he didn't want to push his luck too far. Life saving medical equipment was a step too far, even for him.
He was about to turn around and head right back out the door when a niggle twitched his senses and he turned to see an all-too-familiar blonde head through the double-doors of the nearest ward. Harry stood, open-mouthed and starring, until a porter piloting a bed demanded he stand aside. When he returned to the window he all but expected the woman to be gone, but there she was. Murph, as large as life and twice as beautiful, inside and out.
It took him but a moment longer to pull himself together and head into the ward. At least it wasn't ICU and all the beeps seemed to be coming from entirely voluntary devices here. Which allowed him to focus his attention on Karrin.
"I thought I shook you off back home," Harry said with a frown that broke into a bright smile at the face of his most trusted ally and best friend. "Good to see you, Murph," he said as he pulled up a seat beside her, with a million questions running through his mind.
