In no part of any life I led before this one did I ever think I was going to be having a chat with a spaceship to talk it out of having a tantrum. Vallo never ceases to surprise. Thor, let me know if the agreed-upon washing cheers it up and gets it in the air, I have high hopes.

And if you need money, you could probably sell tickets to you washing the ship in a pair of short-shorts. Lots of people are into that.

	Me either. In fact, before coming here I would've said that the Norse pantheon was a totally fictional result of early human attempts to make sense of a world beyond their comprehension. Yeah, feels like my world gets bigger every day, living here. I like that.

And for what it's worth, I don't think we have to worry about anything we're working on at the forge throwing a tantrum, except in the most metaphorical sense. Thor's ship doesn't have true human-level artificial intelligence, but it's probably smart enough to sneak through a Turing test. Systems at that level of complexity are a lot more likely to throw a fit than some targeting software.

	I'm definitely getting the impression she'll be relieved. As for ship pronouns...no idea. That tends to get tricky when you're dealing with creatures or constructs with completely different concepts of gender than humans have (if they have a concept of gender at all). So, I'm sort of a typhon-human hybrid. I remember being Dr. Morgan Yu and thinking typhon were the enemy, but I also remember being a piece of the typhon consciousness and thinking humans were food. I got spliced together, and now I've got bits of both. This form usually feels the most like me, so this is usually how I am. Sometimes I feel more like a little black blob of tentacles, though, so now and then I'm that. And sometimes I turn into a random inanimate object, but that's usually just a panic response. I can do most any shape I have in line of sight.
