the intrepid greta d. l. catchlove ([info]minxery) wrote in [info]valesco,
Saying, even jokingly, that his mere presence offended her daily would be implying she thought about him daily, which she did not, and would absolutely give him the wrong impression. She had not spent the last three years pining or anything of sort. Ludo Bagman had been… an experiment, against her better judgment, and a failed one. "Well, speaking from a purely hypothetical standpoint, I would imagine if you had offended someone, the best course of action to try and get back in their good graces would be to buy them a drink," Greta mused, trying not to give the appearance of stalling, even though she was..

Because, sweet Merlin, she found that she really wanted to say yes. To give herself some credit, she was not sure if all of her wanted to say yes—it seemed like just a very vocal if minor part of her, one that had been feeling awfully neglected as of late, was clamouring for the attention.

"Come on, Bagman, I'm in a good mood," she said. And really, what better way to show Ludo that she was absolutely one hundred percent unaffected by him? "I'll condescend to grace you with my presence for one drink."
