I'm probably going to assume that the hostages were rescued, since their role after the end of that log would've been to show up and find the ship on fire, and that the women were already on deck huddled together, and torpedoes happened.
A ship hit once with torpedoes would slowly be going down anyway (it was already on fire from what I understand) and if another volley was sent toward them, so to speak, it'd probably mess things up unless the torpedoes were stopped. So it's safe to assume that the second set of torpedoes were stopped and the ship would've gone down anyway, given the situation.
So it was pretty much sorted out and like Josie said, it's basically complete. Whatever accountability and scrutiny happens because the civilian elements completed the majority of the task, should probably happen. I could imagine it wouldn't be all congratulatory pats on the back and a parade, if Fury had to call in the government to arrange flights out via backup, etc.
