...I just got one of those emails from the Baronry that suggests my little hobby of dressing up in funny clothes and shooting things/overseeing other people shooting things is gonna get a lot more interesting. It's all volunteer of course, but, well, valarnet, you're looking at the new Captain of Archers for the Baronry Of Gyldenholt.
...Saying that one came as a shocker is kind of a given, I think. I mean...somebody just put me in a position of actual power. It's like the thunderclouds just started pouring in while I laughed evilly for a moment there.
...So. I'm in some semblance of control over a larger group of people and, while, it's not going to be the biggest ceremony or the most important I'm a part of this year, it's still pretty amazing, considering they want to do it publicly. I uh...
Floored isn't the word now, and excited doesn't start to cover it. I can't believe that this is happening t me. And I'm thrilled to take it.
