Do you know why religion took off in the first place? I don't just mean Christianity. I mean everything...Islam, Buddhism and the like. People had so little knowledge of their world, that they accepted any explanation rather than remain in fear of the unknown. Why do you think certain latter-day religions are met with so much more skepticism? Increased knowledge. Increased connection.
Don't take this to mean I am anything but devout in my belief in a higher being, a God in the Judeo-Christian mould. But when you know the right path, you have an obligation to guide others onto it. Sometimes that means reminding them of what they have to lose.
I want you to conduct subtle tests on my members. I want to know them inside out and where their buttons are.
