Hermione Granger studies harder than you. ([info]her_my_nee) wrote in [info]valarnet,

So, I finished the end of my third year at Hogwarts last night. What I wouldn't give for a time turner. And I learned more about Professor Lupin and Sirius Black.

That goes in the file of "sentences I never thought I'd say."

There seems to be a lot of those these days. Not just for you but for everyone.

It's these dreams. They make me insane.

Eh, I try to ignore them. I mean they're just dreams after all right? I think that is just wishful thinking on my part with so much carry over these days into real life. Kind of wish that wasn't the case.

I don't know if I can say "they're just dreams" when things are showing up, powers are showing up, from the dreams.

Then again, you're right. I can say "they're just dreams" because that's what they are?

True but it makes it a little easier to deal with sometimes when they can be just dreams. It is all just too real sometimes but this life is what's real...

Yes. It is.

Why would you want a time-turner? Something you want to do over again?

I made a lot of use out of a time turner during my third year of school. I was able to "be in two places at once" and take more classes.

You implied that you would like a time-turner. I was simply inquiring as to why but I that is probably a bit personal and rude. Though in France I do not think they made a habit of handing them out to students.

Oh, no, I was trying to explain how I had one in my dreams. That's most of what I would want to use it for in this life, too. To be able to learn twice as many things in the same amount of time.

Oh. English is a funny language sometimes.

I probably just misunderstood you. It happens all the time.

You spoke about me appearing in one of your previous dreams, correct? Last evening I too dreamt about Hogwarts. I was eleven and was sorted into Gryffindor. I've heard you all talking about Hogwarts, but seeing it for myself was extremely different.

Yes. You're an adult in my dreams. A teacher at Hogwarts. You taught Defense Against the Dark Arts for my third year at school.

My name is Hermione Granger, and you were my favorite teacher.

A teacher, you say? Not very far from the real me then.

It's nice to meet you, Hermione. You're a friend of Harry's, aren't you? I think I may have seen you speaking in posts.

Are you a teacher in this world, too? I'm a student in my dreams, and I'm a student in this world. We have a few differences, but I'm a lot like her.

Yes, I've known Harry for many years. You're close with Mr. and Mrs. Potter, aren't you? It's good to meet you, too. Properly(?).

I am. I teach History at a private school in Irvine. What school do you attend here?

Yes, I'm known James and Lily since we were quite young.

I'm studying at UCLA. It's expensive, but well worth it so far.

Mr. and Mrs. Potter have been like a second set of parents to me, almost as much as Mr. and Mrs. Weasley. Any friend of theirs is a friend of mine.

Huhn. Seems your dreams are increasing in intensity. Were these dreams fun, at least?

They're getting stranger and stranger, though they're also becoming more in-depth and interesting.

This one completed my third year of school, out of seven years.

Mine did such as well.

Really? I am curious if they will fill all those seven years, and if, once it is done, they will continue past school
