	They say rice soaks up electronics! I bet any grain would work if it soaks up water! Next time it happens, you should try something like putting it in some oats or cereal! I bet that would help it dry out faster. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Nope! Absolutely true! Hot rice is thirsty rice and that's why, when you throw soy sauce on it, it soaks it up so quickly and turns soy sauce colored! (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	I regret being so late in responding. I had to detach my hand from my face in order to type. You do not cook the rice. The method reportedly works for cellphones and other handheld electronic devices as long as they have not been submerged for a long period of time.
