I know exactly how you feel. It's as if they think because they can plunk a few keys out, they know everything. Music is a pay-cheque for them, not a way of life. It takes everything I have not to bang my head against the wall. I like to think I'm right better than they'll ever be.
I adore Elgar. I feel as though Nimrod is my life wrapped entirely into one piece of music. This sense of the unknown, as if there's something more out there but out of reach.
