[Percy]
Complete coincidence. I opened a telephone book to 'L' and began looking for something alliterative that would go well with 'Loki.' I'll admit, there was a certain appeal to an alternate patronymic structure, but I didn't realize 'Laufey' had significance.
I think people worshipped us as such, but I'm unclear on what exactly we were. So far, it was a lot of prancing followed by fighting, then a lot of shouting. Not particularly godlike, is it? Or, perhaps according to mythology, precisely how a god is meant to behave. I mean, just look at Olympus.
It's so very bizarre.
At the moment I'm chalking it up to my subconscious and a need to actually work through some of things that have been bothering me. Thor is easy enough to speak to - I'll start with him. It's just coffee. We can have coffee without fighting.
When I see other people say that they've shared dreams, though, that makes me tremendously uncomfortable. I waking life, Thor runs late at night for children's charity. In the dreams? He starts wars to win glory. I don't want him to see himself like that.
...well, that's perfect. An obvious sign that I should go and buy a fez. Today. Thank you, that cheered me up.
