Someone remind me that if I'm ever kidnapped by a masked, megalomaniac that I really shouldn't sass them. They really don't like that. Also, what kind of name is Kylo Ren? How does one even come up with something like that? I know it's not his real name, but still. It's just bad.

I also finally figured out why Rey and Finn are with BB-8 and I'm not.

Oh, and I have an entire space ship now. I got the rest of the pieces of my X-Wing last week. I haven't flown it yet though. I still can't quite believe that I'll be able to go into fucking space in it!

Masked megalomaniac?

Yeah, his name's Kylo Ren. He's got delusions of grandeur and is a general bag of dicks. Basically he was looking for the same thing we were looking for and I got it first. He wasn't happy about that.

He sounds like a load of fun.

Oh yeah, real load of fun. In fact, his idea of fun is using this thing called The Force, to torture people. That was a load of fun.

So he's a Sith, then?

Yes! Yes, he is. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say we share a dream world.

It sounds like it, though that's no Sith I've encountered. I'm Ahsoka Tano, formerly a Jedi during the Clone Wars and then part of the Rebellion after.

Oh wow, The Clone Wars? That was...quite some time before my dreams.

...I dislike the idea there are still Sith

You and me both.

I'm Poe Dameron, by the way. It's nice to meet you, Ahsoka.

So your dreams take place during the Clone Wars, huh? I've heard lots of stories, in my dreams, about that time. What was that like?

Terrible. I was raised and trained to be a peace keeper, a protector. I was turned into a child soldier but there was little choice in the matter, not for me, not for the Jedi and not for the Clones.

It was madness after madness and with the benefit of hindsight I can see how the Emperor manipulated events the whole way. But when you're in the middle of it, it's just killing and suffering and losing your way in the darkness.

But there are moments of light. When you could see what both the Jedi and the Republic were supposed to be. I try to cherish those moments.

I doubt many people's do now that I think about it. I know I've blurted out some things I wish I hadn't under stress. ...My father's assistant knows things they probably wish they didn't after our last trip.

Yeah, that seems to be a pretty common thing. Well now I'm curious what happened on this trip. Sorry if I'm a little nosy.

Both. I mean, you don't have to tell me. I just can't help but be curious.

Legacy of growing up with Frey - I don't have much in the way of desire to keep secrets.

We got caught in a storm away from base camp and had to camp out overnight without supplies and it was pretty rough for a couple days. I ended up spilling to him about a lot of my firsts while we were waiting to be able to get back safely.

That must have been pretty awkward.

Frey from Norse Mythology?

He's named after that Frey yeah. His twin sister is named Freya.

Yeah. It was pretty awkward but nothing that he could spill to my dad that would be news.

Are your grandparents really into Norse Mythology?

Well that's good at least.

I guess? I've never asked and they've never really been that big a part of my life. My parents kind of went the nontraditional route with raising me together and it didn't go over well with either of their families.

It's probably not that good idea to sass anyone who kidnaps you. Hopefully you can just avoid getting kidnapped here all together though.

I never thought I'd have to add it to mine but it's definitely in the top five these days.

I'm not sure if it's good or bad that it's in the top five. What are the other four goals?

Finish college before my son starts school, finish my second movie, get involved in another theater production because that's been a lot more fun for me than film lately, and make amends with my mother and sister at some point.

That last one fills the fifth spot and doesn't seem to be moving up any.

I learned in high school to try to keep my goals manageable. Makes it easier to accomplish them and keeps me from hitting new levels of stress which is better for...everyone around me.

That's good. Too many people make outlandish goals that they're never able to meet.
