One good thing about being moved across the country in the middle of the school year? Mom and dad decided I didn't have to start until after the weekend. I'd rather wait until the new school year all together but it was two against one on the vote for that. All my friends in Boston thought I was so lucky that my parents stayed good friends with everything but they never realized - they were the lucky ones. They got away with whatever they wanted because they could always play their parents against each other.

	I still miss her, but it's not as bad now as it was when we first lost her. It was... rough. I just thought she was always going to be there until she wasn't. And you're welcome! I was being a dork and updating the whiteboard by my door with David Bowie lyrics, when I see this guy struggling with boxes down the hall. I stopped and asked him if he wanted help.. he had to leave his original dorm because his old roomate's girlfriend was a crazy stalker and decided that the fact Nico was gay was only a small hurdle, so he decided to move in with his friend instead. I helped him with the rest of the boxes and getting everything inside. He offered to buy lunch, and since we wanted to make sure no one else claimed our food and we had all those boxes anyway... box fort.
