My dreams have had... unforeseen effects on my appearance. I have had no choice but to quit my job and remain inside for the moment.

I am curious, for those in the technology fields, about the existence of appearance masking devices and what it would take to get one.

	My physiology has altered to that of my alien heritage, along with enhancements that I received through my life in those places. A technological method would be preferable, due to my own comfort with technology versus my ignorance towards magic. I would prefer to be in control of my appearance rather than someone else. 	That’s completely understandable. But just so you’re a little more aware of the way my glamours work, in case you change your mind, I link them to a piece of jewelry so if you decide to not use the glamour, you could simply take off that piece of jewelry. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Yes, but how tied to your magic are they? If you lose your magic, does the glamour lose its power? If you are killed, does the glamour stop working? If the jewellery is damaged, does it damage the glamour? Does the magic need reworking after a specific length of time? Does distance have an effect on it?

Relying on someone else long term is not something I am keen on.

	It would seem that losing my magic doesn't affect things I've previously used it on. I'm currently without it at the moment and my apartment and club have not reverted to their state before I decorated with magic. I understand your reservations though. 	If you are referring to the current phenomenon, your powers are presumably transferred into another person, like a swap, rather than a depowering. As such, your magic is still present, just now with you. Ergo, this does not provide a basis for what would happen if your powers were gone.
