Yes, as would I. That had been the original plan, but Mr. Tharkay advised that we can only fly as far as the dessert, at which point I will need to purchase 30 camels so that they may carry water and so that Temeraire may eat. It seems as though it would be quite impossible to fly across.
Knowing what I know in the present day of the terrain, I do not doubt Mr. Tharkay's assessment, though my dreamself is quite dismayed as he thought it would be a fairly straightforward trek.

I was actually rather hoping that you would be willing to watch my apartment for me while I'm away. It would be fairly simple, I think: just water the plants and bring in the mail, but you would of course be welcome to spend as much time there as you would like and I would be willing to pay.
