That isn't too bad. I don't like too many restrictions and rules, and then you have all the people that draw that hard line - if you aren't following the diet completely then you aren't a true vegetarian or vegan. It just gets ridiculous. I try not to go with labels at all for that reason.
Mine were okay as long as I didn't talk about it. If they don't see it, then it is too distant for them to think about. Don't ask, don't tell. They don't want to meet boyfriends, or hear about what I do for charity when it comes to LGBT kids. I stick to talking about what they have been up to with the church and we get on fine.
