I think the best part of my Dreams of Blackwell Academy is how popular I am. Everyone seems to like me. Except Victoria but she's just jealous.

But it also reminds me of how fake everyone is, and how much it sucks to have to be fake just to fit in to that perfect picture frame everyone wants you to be in.

In my dreams, I don't... actually have any friends at first. I live in isolation in a tower. But I do understand the part about fitting into this role, this very fake one, that doesn't fit you at all.

Because... the entirety of the city my tower floats around worships me. There's a prophecy and everything, it's almost like I'm a god. How is anyone supposed to live up to that?

I probably wouldn't give the best advice. Other than to own it and make it yours. Don't let them put the mantle on you without you making it yours.

Well as it turns out in the dreams I just... turn the mantle down. But still, I think they put way too much pressure on me, and the future me.

I thought I was being rescued, actually.

But the man who arrived and said that, told me he was taking me to Paris, was lying. He'd actually been hired to take me to someone else to settle his gambling debts. and as bitter as I sound, I know I fell in love with him--

I did end up running away from HIM, though. It got... complicated.

It's not exactly the same as in your dreams though. Some people are trying to look perfect, been seen the 'right' way. But other people are afraid of being judged to the point where they feel like they don't have a choice to be themselves. And others are just trying to hide their private or painful stuff. With time, they're not so fake.
