I swear that this child does not understand that its mother does need to sleep should it wish to not be strangled the moment it is born. It tends to think that when I lie down, it is time to kick me or move about and thus keep me awake. I shall be most relieved once this child is born.

In a way, screaming is preferable. It is less jarring than getting a foot to one of my internal organs.

Only from the dreams. Sleep is a rarity, unless we are lucky enough that the child sleeps right from the beginning.

I do have a sleep spell, though I doubt you would wish me to use it on our child. It's meant for use in combat, not in non-combat situations.
