It's a bebionic prosthetic, that uses Targeted Muscle Reinnervation, a surgical technique that allows for the intuitive and simultaneous control of myo-prostheses through more than two signals. But with TMR, too, muscles act as a biological amplifier of the nerve pulses, which are conducted via surface electrodes.
So basically it's connected to my brain and nerves, but also the surface muscles of the rest of my arm help me control the prosthetic in a general way.
