A tall ship and a star to steer her by ([info]starwreck) wrote in [info]valarnet,

Learned why the dreams are so different, and what killed my dad and his ship. The ship that destroyed Vulcan, it was the same one as killed my dad.

I met an older Spock. The same Spock from my first dreams. He was... so much older than I last remembered. I can't imagine what he's been through in the century since my first death.

We melded, and he showed me many things about the future. Waking up from that had been like... reliving my other life all over again. He showed me that the enemy ship had come from the future, and that its commander would stop at nothing until the Federation was destroyed. Vulcan was only the beginning.

With the elder Spock's help, I was able to get back onto the Enterprise, and proved to Spock that he was emotionally compromised. I took command of the ship. Spock eventually returned to the bridge, and we hatched a plan to catch the enemy unaware, and beam on board his ship.

We rescued our Captain, who'd been captured, and stopped the attack on Earth.
