You'd think that knowing something was coming would in some way make you ready for it. I suppose it's true in some scenarios. Less so with dreams.

My first one since about late ways through my pregnancy, and even with the warning about what was going to happen, in a fashion, I still feel completely out of sorts from it all. I guess getting used to this is not on the cards.

By the way, I think the pregnancy Regina is referring to is Belle's. Not sure what Gideon is like there but I hope he's not like our dad.

Maybe. I mean, come on, one of those people made a teddy bear meatloaf.

Well, I mean, at least it's not my mom and dad again. Although with how things are going with Belle and Gold... yeesh. Poor kid.

This is really true, and if I'm better than them, I don't see myself as an utter failure.

I know, I feel bad for him. My dad's a dickwad though it's nice he thinks he can replace me with a do-over son.

You're great, babe. You make the best toast ever.

Yeah, because obviously when you suck the first time around, it's important to try again, rather than fix the problem. Which would be him.

It only took me burning seven loaves to get there. One day, maybe I'll make an edible egg to go with it.

Him fixing a problem? Never. Not when he can make a deal to worm his way out of it and make it go away.

You could handle the egg. I believe in you. Maybe the egg even in toast? Eggs in a basket?

He sounds exactly like Gold. Never accepting fault, making deals. Urgh. Hopefully yeah, your brother isn't like him.

Woah, slow your roll there, egg in toast, do you want me to burn down this house?
