But you're a young gay kid, I assume? You're still figuring things out. You're figuring out how to be proud of yourself too. I get that.
It wasn't easy for me, for a long time. I was in foster care, and then in the army. Not fantastic places to be out. But now I'm in a place where I can be out and proud. And it's still hard, but I fight every day to protect my identity and my love for my husband.
