Aw. That's so cute! I mean, it's vaguely creepy that the body is preserved, but yay for the tortoise!

A lot of people can learn from viewing the preserved body. Museums are full of this sort of thing.

Y'know, if you're into museums at all.

I guess that's true. It does not make it easier. The idea of animal dissection still makes me sad. But I guess you could learn a lot. I prefer working with living ones, though.

Well, I've gone a couple times!

Are you a veterinarian? I assume they have to study cadavers just as much as human doctors have to.

See?

Normally, I'd be impressed with that level of googling. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to respectfully disagree with your google fu today.

Can you share a random fact every week so I feel like I'm learning something other than 'Life sucks and then you die.' on this forum?

Absolutely. Sounds like an excellent idea.

"Random Fact Monday" has a nice ring to it.

It does. It'll give me a reason to look forward to Mondays, too. Two for one special.

Sure it won't be too much of a burden for you? It is a commitment and we have just met.
