	In my dreams, there are fixed points in time, and those still in flux. The ones in flux can be changed, the fixed points can't be. So, for instance, Hitler can't be killed before 30 April 1945, otherwise time splinters and bad things happen. The current state of events in this country are a fixed point, otherwise I'd probably try to meddle in it to change it. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

It's kind of an intrinsic thing my people have. Time Lords can see all of time, and we know what are fixed points and what aren't. And yes, it is because of the things he did, and also what the world would ultimately learn because of the destruction he wrought. But it is not limited to people. Pompeii being destroyed by Vesuvius when it erupted in 79 A.D. is also a fixed point in time. Some things must always happen, no matter how terrible. It is hard to take, but sometimes the very bad things can lead to very good things coming about in response to it.

	It is, and I don't always like it. Especially when I am around the things that cannot be changed. So I simply do what I can to help those being affected by it. For instance I saved one family from the destruction of Pompeii, so that was at least one good thing there. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Good for you, not many people are brave enough to travel to those places. We are doomed to repeat history unless more people stand up and yell so loud they can't be ignored. The media needs to continue to report the facts and hold this administration accountable. There is hope, but they must act quickly and not stop, otherwise that is when history will repeat itself.
