Today in one of my study groups we were talking about various fashions in Tv and Movies and someone mentioned the Star Wars franchise. I mentioned I had never seen it and suddenly six people are staring at me like I've grown a second head or something.

Is it that weird to have never seen it?

Yes. You should be ashamed of yourself.

JK

But really, it's iconic. Totally worth checking out if only to see what everyone else is talking about.

I'm totally hanging my head in shame now!

I'll have to add them to my movies to watch list. Just to give them a try

As well you should be! ;)

Yeah! I totally would. Definitely "A New Hope" first. Don't go in order.

I've got them all on DVD if you need to borrow a copy.

If I watch one of them am I allowed out of the shame corner?

Won't I be confused if I don't go in order?

Yes. I give you full permission to exit the shame corner if you watch one of them. But three would be even better.

No. It's the way they were made, anyway. 4, 5, 6, 1, 2, 3, 7. Then 3.5. Kinda.

Kind of!

Just watch "Star Wars: A New Hope"... Episode 4. That's the one that started it all.

I have been shamed for it.

Looks like I'll be having a movie marathon soon!

Not to be biased or anything, but The Force Awakens is pretty fantastic.

Oh no, not at all! There's all sorts of movies I've never seen. I don't really like movies that much, to be honest. I'd much rather be outside, playing and exploring and seeing things and having my own adventures. Watching other people's adventures is kind of boring really, especially when they're people I don't really know. I'd much rather listen to my friends tell me about their adventures!

Oh! I'm Tasslehoff Burrfoot by the way, but my friends call me Tas! What's your name?

What kind of adventures do you have?

It's nice to meet you Tas! I'm Kurt Hummel.

All sorts of adventures! Playing with wild polar bear cubs and making igloos and riding dragons and pegasuses even though the pegasuses put me to sleep so I couldn't really enjoy it as much as I wanted to and making Dragonlances and hitchhiking all across North America and climbing pyramids and fighting abominable snowmen and gremlins and things!

It's nice to meet you too, Kurt! I hope you're not to curt!

Those are some adventurous adventures! How do pegasuses put you to sleep?

Only sometimes! When I'm coffee deprived

Adventurous adventures are the best adventures to have! Wow, adventures doesn't even look like a word anymore! Isn't it funny how that happens sometimes?? But I guess it was magic! There's a whole bunch of magic in my dreams!

Coffee's very important, you know. I know some really great coffee shops!

There's good reason they looked at you like that. Star Wars is only the best franchise in the world.

Sci-fi and Space movies haven't ever really held my attention.

Star Wars is so much more than sci-fi and space movies. They're a journey and love story and just....so much more than I can even explain.

Episode 4. If it's your first time then it's best to start with the original trilogy. I hope you like it.

Well it's because Episode four was the first movie. Watching the prequels first, if you've never seen Star Wars before, will give away too much.
