I've always been of the opinion that there is nothing honorable about the means used to win a war. You do what you have to do in order to win. Nothing pretty or nice about it. With any luck, the things you do will help end the conflict as fast as possible and minimize the number of casualties on both sides. But in the end, whether they died by my hand or in their sleep, dead is dead. The manner of their passing is only of consequence to those left behind.
I'll be honest, the blood on my hands, the things I've done, both here and in the Dreams... I don't know if I'd ever be able to consider myself a good person. But I do consider myself an honorable one, even if it's only through honoring my own code. Something tells me you might feel the same.
