So that's what everyone's been talking about. The dreams certainly have a way of mirroring life outside of them. Only this time it's an entire kingdom calling for my head and apparently I've used my Talent to coerce him (is the polite way of putting it) into participating in our affair. I don't know what it says that I'm mildly surprised. When you're the prince of a country that does not condone homosexual relationships and you need to get out of a sticky situation, it's only natural to push the blame back on someone else. Especially when your entire country has little understanding or tolerance in regards to Talents. I don't know what sort of coercion a Talent for combustion could give unless I'd threatened to blow him up, but I know I did not and I know he did not mean to say that. He meant that I had a Talent I do not have that could have made him do something he did not want to do. There isn't even going to be a trial. Just a sentence. I'm going to be shipped off.

Bastion, I hope that that part of it doesn't bleed into this life. I do not need a trial to go with this. Especially when it is not true. I'm beginning to think I should never be allowed to choose sexual partners for myself ever again. Which is a shame because I don't trust anyone else's decision-making processes any more than my own. I think I need more drinks than I've currently consumed.
