You know, in zombie movies and games people mow over Walkers with cars, trucks and don't get stuck. At least, most of the time that's what I've seen. I get distracted by a signal over the radio about a sanctuary and run into a small herd of them. The car gets stuck on top of their bodies, spraying nothing but blood and guts out.

We made it out of the car before we were fully surrounded, although we had to fight our way through them. We found the drugs that the folks back at the prison need, but not without one of our group nearly got himself killed over a damn bottle of alcohol. I think he's the reason the kid got killed, but who the hell knows at this point. All I know is that we found a van that would run, and we made it back to the prison. Hopefully everyone that's left that was infected with the flu will survive and things will be back to...well normal for there anyway soon.

Your Dreams sound like nightmares.

They are pretty much nightmare fuel.

I'm really sorry to hear it.

It is what it is. Ain't nothing I can do to change them.

Still, I'm allowed to feel empathy, right?

Course, I wasn't trying to say that you couldn't. I've just sorta accepted these dreams as being what they are, you know?

Ah, well. You've reached the last stage: acceptance.

I'm still freaked out by everything. Seems to come and go in waves.

I guess I have.

Sorry that yours still freak you out, Kate. I hope that things get easier.

I almost wish I didn't know anyone from my Dreams. It might make my life so much easier.

I find that it makes the process easier. That's just on my end though. I could imagine that it's different for everyone though.

Whatever happens, it sounds like you did everything you could for the people that are sick.

We did do what we can. Hopefully it was in time for folks. I hate to see any more of them die.

It sucks. Hard to see the people you've come to know, come to care about die and there's very little can do to stop it.

It kind of makes me wonder if it's worth caring about people.

I think that it is. I mean, even in a world full of shit you've gotta have a little love in your heart for folks otherwise everything else just seems pointless.

But the ones you love end up being the ones that hurt you.

I don't think that's always the case, but sometimes it is true.

It is, but sometimes you've got to let people in because being alone sucks.

So I guess, in all reality, it's a double edged sword.
