It’s hard to believe that there’s only a couple of weeks before the first day of school where I teach. On one hand, I’m excited to be going back to work, and on the other I’m not quite ready for summer to be over. I guess I should start thinking about what we’ll do on the first day to make sure I have all of the supplies I’ll need.

	Are you going to be a psychologist? Gender and Power? That sounds like a course my college offered as part of it's sociology department. I could be remembering the name of the course wrong. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	I haven't decided yet. I was thinking of working to stop criminals, but I've started working with women affected by violence and counselling them would be a good career choice too. I think it's with the gender and sexuality studies department. It could be the same one. Did you like it? (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Both of those sound like they'd be good careers where you could help people. Which do you feel more passionate about? That might help you decide which path to choose when it comes time to actually pick one. I learned a lot in that class and the professor was really amazing. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
