One thing is for sure, being not only single but newly broken up changes your perspective on movies. It's like I can't watch Moulin Rouge without feeling a little bitter. It's awful. I'd sworn I'd never be that person. I need to get over this asap.

Pick up a hobby?

Good advice. I've been thinking about learning how to knit. I mean, I'd never wear anything I'd knit here in California, but it might be time consuming, at least?

Knitting sounds very time consuming, and you never know we still have winter to look forward too.

True! Maybe I can make a snazzy scarf.

There's someone in my dreams who likes scarves. It's kind of funny.

Exactly. I'm sure things will get easier.

No, it definitely isn't. Are you speaking from experience?

Yeah I've been at the end receiving of being dumped. Been a while thought but still sucked when it happened.

It really does suck. Sorry you have to be part of the club.

They usually do. I only just started legally enjoying drinking this year, though.

Oh. You're so little

Then all the more reason. Aren't you supposed to be partying anyway? Isn't that what 21 year olds do?

I'm pretty sober for a 21 year old. Old for my age, I guess. Or young. Maybe it hasn't hit me, yet.

You sound like me when I was your age. It took me several years to figure out how to party.

I've never even had a relationship, I keep busy though. For me I like tinkering with electronics. So I guess I echo the same as the first girl, maybe a hobby?

I did back home. We'd field dress it and do our own butchering. It's harder here and I can't eat a whole deer on my own, but I have sold the meat.
