My kid's response to my request for her to take a bath after dinner tonight: "Okay, but I should just take one in the ocean to save water."

Been in California for almost three weeks, and she's already focused on water conservation. So either she's adjusting just fine, or she's been watching way too much television.

	Is there really? I'll have to take her sometime. It's definitely something she said to get to go swimming instead of taking a bath, but if we are going to live here long term then I think it's important that she, and I, do some acclimating. 	Understandable. I knew when I decided to move here that I wanted to be close to the beach, and I've really enjoyed it. It's relaxing, except maybe on the weekends when it's so crowded, but that's to be expected. [Annie] Oh, everywhere has a downside or two. Just part of life, I think.
