No matter how opening night goes, the Paris trip is booked! Christine and I will be going in July. We'll be staying in an apartment building in Montmartre where Toulouse Lautrec once lived! We will definitely be hitting up the opera house to see how similar it is to the one in our dreams. I am very excited about it.

That sounds incredible, Meg. I'm sure you'll have a lovely time.

It'll be a dream vacation! I'll take loads of pictures.

I'd love to go to Paris someday. Even before I moved to the states, the only other place I've ever been is China.

I've always wanted to go there. China seems like it could be cool. What's it like there?

July's a good month to go, August is the worst. My one tip would be to always say hello to the store clerks - always.

That seems like good advice. It's only polite. What happens if you don't say hello?

To the town square to be hanged with you. No, but the French just think it's rude to base interaction on financial transactions only, so just going up and paying for things without saying hello first will definitely garner a few sneers.

Good tip, then! I'll keep it in mind!

No problem. Have a nice time, when you go. I'm partial to Italy, but France is nice too.

Italy looks like it could be fun, too! And the food!

It's honestly a stiff competition between the two, who has the better food. Italy has the tastier street food, but France has crêpes. Pretty much nothing beats a warm crêpe.

The shoppe I work at makes great crêpes au sucre, but somehow I'm betting they're better in France.

They pretty much reign superior in France, they're worth indulging in even though I'm sure dancers have to watch what they eat. But I'm sure yours are good too. Where do you work?

Oh, we do. We have to eat like birds, so to speak, but I'm told I can indulge a little in Paris due to the amount of walking I'll be doing. I work at a little place called Alice's Tea Cup.

Definitely. There's a reason there's no obesity epidemic in France too, it's all the fresh food, no preservatives and sodium and crap. So you should be fine. Alice's Tea Cup, huh? Sounds interesting, I'll come check it out.

That's the key. Not surviving on fast food. That and staying active. It's a nice little place. We have a great selection of teas and lots of tasty stuff to munch on, too.

That stuff is the worst poison, but I admit I can't resist the hash browns from McDonald's sometimes. I don't know a damn thing about tea but you had me at tasty stuff.

I've had those once or twice. They're good. Crunchy. Unfortunately I can't indulge in McDonald's breakfast too often. For me it's an apple and a cup of Greek yogurt and I'm on my way to class. Are you a coffee person? We do serve coffee! Tea is our specialty, though. We have a pretty big menu for a tea shoppe. Paninis, biscuits, little desserts...

For me it's six cups of coffee and I'm on my way to never blinking again, but that's the life. Though yeah, I'm more a coffee person - maybe it won't hurt to try some teas, however.

Paninis too? You get paid to be a temptress, clearly.

I cannot even imagine ingesting that much caffeine. I'd be buzzing like a bee. Our teas are all wonderful. I've tried them all at one point or another. My favorites are the ones with cinnamon or cloves, though.

Oh, yes. I'm a panini pusher. I am definitely good at my job.

Slight exaggeration but not by much. As long as tea doesn't taste like grass, I'm all for giving it a try.

I would steer you away from the matcha green tea, then. Go for black teas, maybe something with a spice like our mulling spice tea. Jasmine tea is great, too, but I don't know how you'd like something flowery.

It's not scary to see something from your dreams?
