Apparently frantic voicemails left at 2 AM where it sounds like someone is being chased and then gunned down by the cops is my baby brother's idea of appropriate April Fools fair.

	That's... worse than I thought. I mean, it's never good if it has to be hidden, but I thought maybe the differentiation wouldn't be that extreme. He's desperate. Nowhere else to go. I'm still trying to wrap my head around all of it. I don't know how I should feel. There's my reaction, the dream me's genuine reaction, and the one he feels like he should be having, and they're all overlapping into this tangled mess.

And John... It's just... He's family here. But there. I should hate him. But I don't.

God, I really hope not everyone ends up feeling like this. You didn't. Right?
