Someone suggested to me that I volunteer at an animal shelter. I finally started.

I have to admit it's been fun. I actually felt relaxed around them. It's a nice change from the dreams.

One of the staff took pictures. You can see how adorable the animals are.

I got some wolves, raised 'em from pups. They live in the woods up near the mountains. Near an outreach center/ranch I own.

We started it out as a place for kids in trouble with the law. Kinda like a last ditch attempt to keep 'em out of juvie. Now we help whatever kids we can.

Yep. There's also a world class gym and tech center. Archery, fishing and other activities like that. It's kinda well rounded.

Iris. She was an undersized runt and the mum nearly ate her. She's on solid foods now though, and she's started pushing her limits since she figured out where the boundaries of her new environment are.

What days are you at the shelter?

It's always good to be able to explore.

Sundays. It was the easiest day to commit to, with my class and work schedule. They let me come in on other days if I want.
