The trouble with darkness, you see, is that it blinds--quite clearly in your case.
Clara isn't wrong. In some ways, neither are you. The difference between the two of you is that she errs on the side of good, and you've gone perilously astray. You've hurt someone I like and that marks you as a problem. She is better than you.
Society would be far better served if we listened to people like her rather than be poisoned by those who think they're doing good by being no different than those they abhor.
