Well it seems as though I will be heading to Paris for a week later in the month. There are a few props and costumes which need checking and the studio have decided to send me. I have to say I am rather excited.

I would love to go to Paris.

What kind of show are you working on?

It's a beautiful city.

It's a historical film this time around, so the costumes will be absolutely beautiful.

Paris is perfect for that.

Too bad. If it were a fashion show, I was going to call and fuss at my agent for not getting me in on that.

I bet the movie will be great. What period?

It is. You're right.

Ah I see. I'll be sure to let you know if anything comes up and we need a model!

18th Century, so I'm pretty excited.

Thanks. I have jobs here and there, but jobs that include travel would be even better.

Those costumes are so great, except the ruffled men's collars. I'm not sure what they were thinking with those.

Definitely. Travel is one of the perks of modelling jobs, or it should be in my opinion.

Yeah, those are really odd. I'll be keeping ruffles on men to a minimum.

It really should, but there is a lot that are shot right in LA, so sadly, there are a lot of local jobs.

Thank you. Especially those huge collars they used to wear in the Shakespearean days. Those are truly a fashion fail.

It keeps you in work at least though, right?

Oh those were awful and so impractical too.

It definitely does. I have a shoot next week for the fall like already.

I still don't get the point. They look like a head on a plate.

Oh yes, I remember being very ahead of the seasons when I worked on photoshoots.

lol that is the best description ever.

Right. By the time they edit what they want and do the layouts, it will be time to show in July for the September/Fall season. The timeline took awhile to get used to.

It did. That is exactly what I see when I think about it.

Yes it does seems strange. I think the Christmas shoots were always the ones which felt wrong to me :)

Oh I totally see it, I'd just never heard that description before.

Right. August and September are all wrong for snow scenes and Santa.

If it ever comes back, I will absolutely refuse on principle.

I know! It feels so odd.

I think you should, you'd be left being the only cool looking guy around without it.
