Just came home from an amazing camping trip with my fantastic girlfriend.

And it looks like my dreams are finally starting to pick up. For my birthday yesterday, I dreamed that the Hero of Fereldan gave me a kitty. And not just any kitty. Sir Ser Pounce-A-Lot! I can't imagine it's going to be very safe taking him into the Deep Roads with us, but he's proven himself to be a feirce attack kitty. The dreams also bestowed upon me an adorable little bell collar for Sir Pounce-A-Lot in this world, which I've already added his tags to.

I'm finally free of the Circle, and even if the work I do kind of sucks (but at least it's not boring), at least I like some of the people I work with. I've found myself missing them lately even Velanna the bitch and Nathaniel the stick-in-the-mud. Please don't tell me I'm the only one who misses Dream people.

So yes. Dreams are great, life in general is great, and I'm another year older. And Sir Pounce-A-Lot has an adorable new collar that just looks dashing on him.

Happiest of birthdays, Anders. It's a shame we had to come home! (Though, I did miss my bed. And the kitties.)

It was nice of my brother to watch them and the house while we were gone.

I could not think of a person who I'd rather spend my birthday with than you, Love. <3 I missed sleeping in a bed too.

It really was nice. I hope Sir Pounce didn't give him too much trouble.

Agreed completely. I'd rather spend your birthday with you than anyone else, too. ;) (Mine just passed in February, so we'll have to make big plans for it next year.)

Nah, I doubt the kitties gave him a hard time. They're good ones.

We'll definitely have to do something awesome for your birthday next year. Saaaayyyy, a trip to somewhere? Where've you always wanted to visit?

Sir Pounce can get... a little demanding if he thinks you're not paying enough attention to him. Especially if he's not being taken out for walks. I don't know why. It's not like I spoil him or anything.

Oooh, can we go on a Tesla Factory Tour? ...though, Fremont's not that far. I bet we could fly there in a couple hours. Or drive in a few more.

I don't care where we go, really, so long as we go together.

No no, of course not. ;)

I can't even type that with a straight face.

Well, if it's close, we can pick any old time and go together. I'd love to go look at people building cars with you.

I can be very stern with Sir Pounce-Pounce-A-Lot. "No, Sir Pounce, no dinner until you clean your room." "You can only have one treat tonight." It's not my fault that he can offer persuade me to give him more. He's a very smooth talker, that Sir Pounce-A-Lot.

That's the plan for our next outing. Tesla Factory Tour. Whenever you can get another weekend off?

He's got you wrapped around his tiny paw.

Do you want to shoot for next month? I can probably swing something for then, assuming that the OC is good to us and doesn't force me to take time off for less fun reasons between now and then

Just you wait, Lady Widget will have you in exactly the same spot before you know it.

Oh, there's no denying that she already has.

Great! A May vacation to Fremont. Tesla's the guys who just released the patent on the electric car, aren't they?

I'm pretty sure that that if cats were more motivated, they would rule the world with an iron paw.

Several months ago, actually, but I'm so proud of you for knowing!

There was that episode of Futurama... I'm not entirely convinced they don't.

I'm sure it will surprise you not at all that I took some interest in it when it happened due to the implications of what it would mean for the environment and Big Oil. I'd actually be very interested to talk to someone there about all of that.

You know, I have no idea what episode of Futurama you're talking about, but I feel like we have to watch it now.

I am a complete and total idiot for not putting two and two together about that. I bet there are tons of people at the factory who would love to talk to you about that. I'm sure they'd get just as excited as you do.

Do you and Sir Pounce want to join me and Lady Widge tonight for pizza and Futurama?

Sir Pounce and I would love to join you. <3

Well, I've never been close enough to give them a squeeze or anything. An apprentice tried that once when I was a child and it was not an experience I would ever want to go through myself. I just always assumed she had a very supportive bra.

As someone who has spied on her whilst she bathed, I can assure you that she is simply gifted.

You are a mage then? I am Zevran Arinai, and in the dreams I am a Crow.

Really? That's... Wow. Maybe I don't pity that apprentices fate quite so much now.

I am a mage. Anders, mage and Grey Warden. You traveled with Maia during the Blight, didn't you? She and Oghren have talked of you.

So, you're into old women (with fantastic breasts, I'm reluctantly forced to admit) who hit you. Kinky. I like you already.

Only good things, I assure you. Oghren even said "he's alright *belch*." I haven't known him for long in the dreams, but I like to think that undergoing the Joining together and then slaying darkspawn together really let's you into someone's head, and I'm pretty sure that's his highest form of praise.

I am into women of all ages who hit me. And men of all ages who hit me. Really, just attractive people?

I do miss Oghren at times. He was a good dwarf. (And by good, I mean smelly, short, and flatulent.)

[info]crazycatman

Attractive people are the best people to be interested in.

Oh, so the smell isn't a new thing then. He certainly grows on you, but I'm not sure if I'm ever going to get used to the whiskey-vomit smell. You'd think after a year and a half on the surface he'd learn what a bath was. It's really no wonder that we're always getting ambushed and not the other way around. I'm sure the darkspawn can smell him coming from a mile away.

(Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

[info]easy_lover
2015-04-15 02:34 am UTC (link)
That is so.

There is also quite a lot of feet in his smell. Perhaps he is using his smell to nauseate the darkspawn, and make them reconsider their choices.

[info]crazycatman

I'm sure many darkspawn have regretted their decisions of not becoming lucrative darkspawn bankers in the aftermath of Oghren's stench.

I am sure that the weaker darkspawn would have simply died, or committed seppuku.

That I do not doubt. I've woken up with his feet far too close to my head and nearly passed out. And to think he had the nerve to complain about how poor Ser Pounce-A-Lot smelled.
