Okay, I officially regret bitching about how being a cop in the O.C. was nothing like being one in NYC and that it was kinda boring.

This crime wave isn't just overwhelming, it's really pissing me off. I hate feeling like all my hard work is useless. It's like trying to swim against a rip tide. No matter how hard you try, things just seem to be getting worse.

I need motivation. Gonna have me some Jack and Coke and watch a shit-ton of Southland. Officer Cooper speeches make everything better.

	I think the OC needs a bigger budget to hire more cops but that's not gonna happen. I'd happily take the National Guard. I could even switch between uniforms since my contract's not quite up. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

I'm not at the point of regretting putting on the badge again but there are days.

Like the other day when some asshole who thought playing "let's pull this lady's pants down" wasn't going to earn him a foot chase by me. It was broad daylight! Woman's screaming like she got stabbed and he thinks I'm not gonna run his ass down? Then he starts the whole "I can't breathe" bullshit when I finally tackle him.

I get your point. Why watch something that reminds you of work when you're off the clock?

I guess for cops and soldiers it's a bit different; once in a while you find a movie or show that isn't laughably bad and that you can relate to and don't mind sitting down to.

I got 'em all on DVD, that show's been off the air for years now. You're welcome to come over if you want.
