The entire experience is high pressure. Considering my line of work, you'd think I'd be better equipped to handle that, but it's different when you have a chef's knife in your hand and only 30 minutes to cook something.
I did learn a few tricks. I don't burn pot roasts anymore, so I guess the kids think it was a success. Overall.
And we'll always have cereal. It's hard to mess up instant oatmeal, too, but I've managed it before.
