More a curious inquiry, but there are some specifics. While I enjoy a great deal of old mythology, history, and other such tales? I also teach philosophy and poetry at a community college. So I collect a few books, but it would be nice to have some that are of worth, from a collector's perspective.
I'm on the look out for any first edition Tennyson, Baudelaire, or Whitman poetry books, and any old copies of 'Parerga and Paralipomena' by Arthur Schopenhauer.
Or 'A Conference of Pleasure: In Praise of Knowledge, In Praise of Fortitude, In Praise of Love, In Praise of Truth' by Francis Bacon, from as close to 1592 as can be obtained. But I do not hold much hope in finding one of these in very good condition, at all.
