Every single time my daughter and I do some sort of project of any kind, I always find remnants of it all over the kitchen. In October, when Lian, Darcy and I carved pumpkins, I found pumpkin guts around the kitchen the next day even after cleaning it the night before. Saturday night, Darcy and Dick came over to do Easter Eggs with us. We dyed some and painted some with chalkboard paint and drew on them. You'd think that'd be fairly easy to make sure everything was clean, right? Apparently not. This morning, I stepped on a piece of chalk then had to clean up all that crushed chalk dust then I found one of the eggs that had rolled under the counter. I'm just glad I found it today instead of six months from now. Luckily no one spilled any paint or anything. I'm sure chalkboard paint isn't easy to clean once it dries.
