11 hour flights are pretty bad, yeah. Some books are great, and if you have games on your phone, if you can put it in airplane mode, then you can play those, too. Sometimes there's an in-flight movie to watch, and a lot of planes have radio for you to listen to.
This is really important though! Fly in layers. Planes are either always way too cold than you're expecting or way too hot than you can compensate for, and the blowers won't always help. So it's good to have a few layers to strip off or pack on to regulate your temperature. And fly in sweatpants if you have them. Jeans get uncomfy after a while.
Another great idea is to invest in one of those tiny bottles of hand moisturizer you see in uhm ... checkout aisles and things some places. You're going to get really dry, and moisturizer is a life saver!
