Most people in those institutions simply are because their families no longer wish to put forth the effort to care for them or get them the actual help they need. Not speaking totally to your mother, but just a general note about society dehumanizing anyone they deem "different."

There is a difference between thinking you're the devil and actually being Lucifer. Or the differences between one fallen angel and the next that make a distinction between Lucifer and Satan abundantly clear.

	What happened is that I went to bed with Lucifer and woke up with Satan and had to spend a few days keeping him convinced he was just a figment of my imagination or he might well have actually gone through the effort to attempt to unleash Hell on the world.
