So. Anybody know of a good restaurant that delivers? The last three days of mine were spent at the hospital with one of our kids. They're okay now, but I think I might kill someone for a burger and a beer.

I so very understand those feels. If you're at Irvine General you can stop by my room, I've got some takeout menus you can avail yourself of.

Or I could just order something for you if you don't want to leave your kid.

Oh, you're in the hospital? What a shame.

When I say my kid, I mean one of the kids staying at my employer's safe house. I work with LGBTQ kids, and one of them had a rough few days. But it's nice of you to offer.

I understood what you meant, I work with kids at Urdnot Ranch, too (and I've seen some other posts by you). But I figured if they were still there at the hospital you might not want to leave their side to eat. I wasn't completely clear on that.

I know if someone I was looking after was in here, I wouldn't want to leave them, either, whether they were my blood or not.

I'm pretty used to being in here by now, actually. I've got lots of things to do to keep my mind off it.
