Re: Private
My birth certificate and all records of note read and have always read Samandriel Sean Shurley. Until the dreams, I have never in my life been called Alfie.
So, since to my knowledge, Alfie exists purely in the dreams I'll just answer that way. - Taking a vessel requires the vessel's consent, consent that can be revoked at any time. Yes, I asked his consent and he gave it. - The situation was such that I needed a vessel and Alfie happened to be the nearest one. I didn't have time to go searching for another needle in a haystack. Vessels are rare and given that in heaven, before the Fall, I was made to sit at Lucifer's right hand, I'm not exactly weak which means that finding a vessel that can contain me is more difficult. - An angel occupying a vessel is much the same as a demon possessing someone. It is done as completely as possible. The human soul remains in the body the whole time. If the angel isn't careful, they experience everything we do, just in the background. I suppose it rather must be like being chained to a comet. - During my capture and the very long weeks of torture that followed, Alfie and I got to know each other rather well. When your only real company consists of the demon causing you nigh on unbearable pain and the human soul you're sharing a body with, the preference for conversation partners is pretty obvious. Alfie's body suffered. I suffered. Alfie felt none of it until the end when I was in so much pain that I was lighting bushes on fire and speaking only in screams and Enochian. - I would assume that Alfie went to Heaven in the end, but I have no way of knowing that.
