Okay, Valarnet, question time!

I know that some of you lucky folks have dreamed about having magic or superpowers and then gotten them in real life... did you know how to control them when you got them? I'm just curious, since... doesn't it take a while to learn how to handle something like that, normally?

	I didn't realise I had mine until i froze something when I knocked it over. But I kind of feel like I do in my dreams, like I've always had it and it's instinctual to know how to use it. If that makes sense. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	Oh no, now I know it's there I can control it. It's just, more like it's part of me than something I gained somehow. In the dreams I was born with magic and that's how it feels here now even though I only discovered it recently. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	When I got my wand I tried the spells I'd already learnt in the dreams and found they worked. So I guess you could say I have literally learnt how to use them thanks to the dreams. (Reply to this) (Thread)

Funny you should bring this up actually. I just found out I have...magic. It still seems weird to say to be honest. I was cooking, turned to kiss ~~make-out with~~ my girlfriend and the pots I'd been stirring were stirring themselves! I don't really have any control of these 'powers' yet, but I hope that as my dreams are apparently manifesting themselves my control will too. :-S Otherwise, I'll be looking for tutelage! :P

	Mine caught me unawares, really. It seems accidents at first seem to be common. I've been putting a lot of time into learning how to control and manipulate it. It gets easier along the way. (Reply to this) (Thread)
