Sounds like if you’re wearing your wrap brace you’re doing all you can for your knees. As for the ACL, exercise but just don't overdo it or you will be in a world of hurt.
Of course. Considering your problems with the ACL and knees' alignment, it's not surprising you get a... wonk every now and then. Go try one out. But know you'll have to give them two or three sessions before you start to feel relief. Like anything it's a process.
On a personal note, I just moved to area and I'm looking for beach where the surf is cooking? Any suggestions on where to ride?
