The baby's the size of a honeydew melon now, apparently! I'm 35 weeks along, and only five more to go. THAT'S SO CRAZY. It seems like just yesterday Pete and I were practicing to make one, period! The nursery's all set up and the bathroom's all set with all the stuff I'll need for when the little one starts to arrive.

I should probably tell Pete sooner or later that I'm going to deliver at home, huh.

Oh that's fine, Petal. You can do that as long as I can drink in copious amounts, chainsmoke the entire time without anyone lodging any complaints or I'll flick a lit cigarette in their eyes, and if I fly in this chap from cyber-security named Fat Bastard, so he can watch as well.

You know, as proof that I've impregnated you. And because I'm fairly certain that he's never seen a vagina and he's not going to for the entirety of his life.

If you say yes to those things, then we won't have a row about you giving birth to our first child in the bath.

Right. Fat Bastard. He's tall, hairy, and round. He also has the largest collection of Oasis concert t-shirts in the entire U.K. and fancies himself a demon hunter in his spare time, of which he has none, because he's in front of a computer terminal 24 hours a day, seven days a week, eating crisps.

So Fat Bastard gets to pop in to bear witness to the watermelon baby you're going to pop out in the bath and have some midwife pluck out of the water before it becomes a floater.

Oh, before I forget? I think he's got a webcam as well. Maybe we can get him to livestream it for my mates back in London.

I'm well chuffed since that will make everything perfectly complete, I think. Cheers, lovey.
