I've got my 20 week ultrasound on Friday. I haven't decided whether or not I want to know the sex of the baby ahead of time.

Also, I apologize if whoever I snapped at earlier is on this network. But, in my defense, it really is NOT your dog's business whose baby I'm carrying. Not sure why he asked in the first place.

Can the animals stop talking now?

As you could probably tell from earlier today, I'm not all that big on animals in general. Especially strange ones. You should have heard the scream when I was visiting my brother and his family the other day. My nephew brought in his latest find: a huge bull frog he'd found in the stream behind their house.

Okay, yeah that'd be kind of...awkward. Reptiles in general sort of freak me out. I think it's the eyes...

Well, I think Bull Frogs are still amphibians, even though they freak me out as much as reptiles do.

Ugh, and the way some young boys treat them. Shoving them in their pockets and stuff. God, I hope I don't have a boy.

Oh right, the water thing. Guess who slept through high school science over here.

That said, yeah. I'm not exactly a hypochrondriac like one of my friends is but that's just going too far. Frogs are cute enough when they're doing their thing I guess. Away from humans.

The only reason I know is that my nephew corrected me. ;) So don't feel bad.

I feel that way about a lot of animals. Birds, for instance. Bugs, too. Definitely amphibians and reptiles. A lot of mammals, too.

Now most of the others I like. Rodents and I aren't on great terms, though either. You wake up with a hamster on your face just once in childhood and it cures things.

A hamster on your face?

I think the Dwarf ones are adorable.

Oh yeah. Lots of little sisters=Lots of hamsters through the years. It was the weirdest holiday vacation week EVER with that one.

How many sisters? Are you good with women?

I've heard guys with lots of women in their lives growing up end up really good with women as adults. ;)

Three fully biological, and then four half on either parents' side. It's a little crazy around holidays.

Well, they sure aren't complaining. :)

It got...really crazy at times, yeah. All of my parents are pretty laidback but even SO.

Well, my friends debate that point. Functional is to be celebrated though!

Functional is preferable to not. ;)
