Being tortured is quite an unpleasant thing, if a bit eye-opening. They say your life flashes before your eyes, but my dreamself's life flashed before him while being tortured.And he finally found compassion and good in himself. I would like to think I could do the same, but I fear should I be tortured I would soon do what my captors told me. Or say what they wanted to say. To choose instead, a whole new path a dedication that was true enough that the gods marked it with a physical transformation? Is amazing.
Of course the subsequent death does somewhat dull things.
Feeling myself die, feeling death swim up and swallow me down and my soul depart my body, only to be summoned by the Gods? That was... incredible.
I am not sure whether to be depressed, or simply impressed. Not sure at all.
